Mark and Jess outside of Corbet’s Cabin, Jackson Hole Gondola
Welcome to Great Plains Armory LLC, where craftsmanship meets community values. Founded in 2026 by Mark and Jessica Roelfsema, our family-owned shop is proudly rooted in the heart of Dell Rapids, South Dakota, where we have been part of the community for two decades.
We established this business on a simple philosophy: providing quality, value, technically precise firearm services while treating every customer like family.
At Great Plains Armory, we step away from the one-size-fits-all approach. We specialize in creating individualized customer experiences, taking the time to understand your unique needs, whether you are buying your very first handgun, navigating a firearm transfer, servicing your Every Day Carry, or maintaining a prized family heirloom.

Individual Service
We are not your "box-store dealer." We want you to be comfortable buying from us, and bringing your firearms to us, because you know that we care about you and your family, and their shooting experience.
